Flow is a style of Yoga- Vinyasa Flow Yoga often just called “Flow”.  The word Vinyasa means “breathe synchronized movement” where an instructor will have you move from one pose to another on an inhale or exhale.  The name also derives from the way the poses are smooth and seamlessly connected to the rhythm of breath…. like a dance, and life is a dance…
The “Flow” theory was proposed by positive psychologist, Mihaly Csikszentmihaly.  Mihaly developed the “Flow” theory  which suggests that “flow” is a state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else around them matters, totally unaware of their surroundings but enjoying the task. The simpler meaning, “getting into the rhythm of things” ,also described as an ecstatic state.  Mihaly, also noted that a major constraint on people enjoying what they are doing is being conscious of a fear of how they appear to others and what others might think.
